Beginning Group Classes Beginning/Puppy Classes cover the basic obedience cues for good manners and self control. *Cost: $130 for 7 week session (no dogs first class) If your dog is extremely fearful or dog/people reactive, group classes are not for your dog. Private lessons are the best option.

Canine Good Citizen Preparation and STAR Puppy The CGC preparation class and evaluation shows that a handler has control over his/her dog and that the dog has good behavior in public. Dogs in this class should already be comfortable around people and other dogs and know standard obedience cues. Behaviors include sitting politely for petting, separation from the handler, and waiting patiently while the handler talks to another person. STAR Puppy is for those dogs who aren’t quite ready for CGC. Testing will occur on the final class. *Cost: $130 for 7 week session. *Extra fee to be paid to evaluator at testing. Intermediate Level Group Classes The intermediate class will take what the dogs and owners have learned at the beginning level and intensify the learning with added duration, distance and distractions. Other higher level cues will also be taught. Dogs should have completed a beginning level class prior to taking the intermediate class whether with Rhonda or elsewhere. Classes will be held at different locations. *Cost: $120 for 6 week session. *Dates: TBD (If you would be interested in this class, let Rhonda know.)
Dog Therapy Prep Class with Human Animal Bond If you are interested in having you and your dog work as a therapy team, this class will teach you and your dog to manage situations that you would encounter in settings such as schools, nursing homes, adults with disabilities, etc. The final class will include a temperament test with Human Animal Bond of Fort Leavenworth. *Cost: $130 for 7 week session. *Dates: In Session *Time: 11:30-12:30 p.m. Location: various locations in Leavenworth area. Owners will receive a 10% discount on first time services if the owner can show proof of adoption from an animal shelter.
