All classes require a $35 non-refundable deposit to hold a spot. The deposit will not be returned or put towards another class if you need to cancel. Please read through the policies for vaccination requirements.
Upper-Level Classes
In order to take an upper-level class, all dogs and handlers must have taken a Beginner Class either from Rhonda York or at another place. The dog should be able to act calmly around other dogs.
Intermediate Class
This class will take what the dogs and owners have learned at the beginning level and intensify the learning with added duration, distance and distractions. Other higher-level cues will also be taught. The following cues should already be known at a beginning level: Focus, Touch, Sit, Release, Good Leash Walking, Wait with movement, Wait with food, Stay, Come, Down, and Leave It. Cost: $135 for a 6-week session.

Advanced Class
The Advanced Class is for those dogs and handlers who have taken the Intermediate Class as well as the Canine Good Citizen Class and passed (see AKC Classes). The class will be tailored to those participants in the class. Cost: $135 for a 6-week session.

Saturday, May 9 at 1:00 p.m.

Dog Therapy Preparation Class
This class will help prepare the dog and handler team for the temperament test for the local animal therapy group, Human Animal Bond. The class will cover the test components and have classes at different locations. Dogs must be at least one-year-old to participate and be good candidates for therapy dog work.
